Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026
This policy explains what personal information Maid 2 Go collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We are committed to handling your information carefully and only using it for the reasons set out below.
Who we are
Maid 2 Go is an independent domestic and commercial cleaning company working across Brighton & Hove, with selected areas across East Sussex. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Maid 2 Go is the “data controller” for the personal information described in this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you complete the enquiry form on this website, or contact us by phone or email, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the address of the property to be cleaned, the service you are interested in, and anything else you choose to tell us in your message.
Information from providing our services. If you become a customer, we also hold booking dates and times, details of the work carried out, any access arrangements you give us (such as key or entry instructions), and invoicing and payment records.
Photos and videos you choose to send. Our enquiry form lets you attach photos or videos of the areas that need cleaning. This is optional — you can send an enquiry without them. We use them only to understand the condition of the property, work out how long the job will take and give you an accurate price, and we ask you not to include people, personal documents or anything else sensitive in them. They are stored privately under a reference that identifies nothing about you, are never published on this website or anywhere else, and are not used in our Before & After gallery unless we ask you separately and you agree.
How your enquiry reaches us. When you send the enquiry form or apply for a cleaning job, your answers go directly to our own system on this website’s own address — not to a third-party form service. We record the enquiry, the date and time, which page you arrived from, and whether you had accepted analytics cookies at the time. We also keep a one-way code derived from your network address, which lets us stop automated abuse of the form; it is not the address itself and cannot be turned back into it.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site records basic technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through Google Analytics and through the standard server logs kept by our hosting and network providers.

Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is necessary to run the business. Our cleaners are given the address and access details they need to carry out your booking, and nothing more. We also use the following service providers, who process information on our behalf:
- Netlify — hosts this website, and stores enquiries and any photos or videos sent with them
- Cloudflare — provides our domain routing, website security and email forwarding
- Google — provides our email service and website analytics
- Setmore — manages appointment scheduling
- Xero — produces invoices and maintains accounting records
- IT, communications and workflow providers — that support our day-to-day operations, such as handling enquiries and coordinating our team
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
International transfers
Some of the providers listed above are based outside the United Kingdom, principally in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement, to ensure your information remains protected.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking — up to 12 months, then deleted
- Photos and videos sent with an enquiry — kept while we quote and carry out the work, then deleted with the rest of the enquiry record. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time, by emailing us at the address at the top of this page
- Customer and booking records — for the duration of our working relationship
- Invoices and accounting records — six years after the end of the relevant tax year, as required by HMRC
- Website analytics — retained by Google for a limited period, currently up to 14 months
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example which pages are most popular and whether people are finding what they need. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and collects information such as your approximate location, device type and the pages you view.
We only load Google Analytics if you agree to it. When you first visit, we ask for your choice and nothing analytical runs until you accept. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set at all, and you can still use every part of this website exactly as normal.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the analytics cookies already stored on your device. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not use them to identify you personally.
Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, access to our systems is protected by strong passwords and multi-factor authentication where available, and access to customer details is limited to those who need it to do their job. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take our responsibilities here seriously.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information, where there is no good reason for us to keep it
- ask us to restrict how we use your information
- object to us using your information on the basis of our legitimate interests
- ask us to transfer your information to another provider
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these rights, please email hello@maid2go.co.uk. We will respond within one month. You will not usually have to pay a fee.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in how we work or in the law. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
