Brighton is a city of flats, conversions and narrow streets, and that changes the job more than people expect. A third-floor conversion with no lift is a different clean from a house, parking on a terrace is its own problem, and the shared hallway is nobody’s and everybody’s. We plan around all three rather than discovering them on the morning.
